About Our Soaps ... |

| The Datça Soap Company was set up in 2003, in the small seaside town of Datça, on the south west coast of Turkey. For many years, the olives and almonds that grow in the area have been hailed as being some of the best in the world – and the oils that are produced here are of the very highest quality. |

| We decided to take advantage of that quality, and we asked a local designer and a qualified chemist to design and hand make some simple, natural olive and almond oil soaps for us. This they did, and the quality of those soaps soon led to a constant stream of customers, all with their own ideas and their own special requests. |

| Since then, The Datça Soap Company has developed a range of almost 150 fragrances, available as olive oil soap, glycerine soap and massage oil. We have goats milk soaps, glycerine soaps with Loofah, gift boxes, guest soaps and a huge novelty range including alphabet letters, teddy bears, trains, fish and ducks! |

All of our soaps are handmade, in Datça. We source the very highest quality olive oil, vegetable glycerine and almond oil, and we combine them with only the purest essential oils and natural ingredients. Many of the ingredients we use are grown locally, but those that we have to bring in are only bought from trusted, reputable, organic suppliers.
All of our soap is both organic and vegetarian. Many of our soaps are vegan, but we do recommend that you check the ingredients to make absolutely certain that they are right for you. |
